Haven’t posted a blog in awhile, but i just wanted to post something from my qt today. It’s about past sins that seem unforgivable, too heavy, unforgotten, but in the end it’s your pride that is clinging onto it. It’s your mind telling you that you’ve become the “bad person” after making the wrong choice which can persuade you to think that a great God like ours can’t forgive a sin like this or a person like this, but you know what God DID, he IS, and he WILL continually forgive and heal you eternally if you let him, don’t ever forget it. It’s your pride that gets in the way of receiving God’s power and letting it work and change through our lives. So let it go and let God restore you. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”
Humbling ourselves before God, praying to Him, seeking after Him, and turning to Him —> Forgiveness, healing, and restoration from our wonderful Father. Who knew that humbleness would lead to restoration?
